You'll be emailed an itemized invoice once we've decided on the details of your piece(s). Your order will be added to the list once payment is received. For orders of $375 or more, a deposit for half may be made, with the rest due upon completion of the piece.
There are four ways to pay:
Additional Pet Fee: This fee is for a second pet in a single portrait.
Houses and Humans: Due to the added complexity and time needed to capture architectural details and human features, a 30% upcharge will be added.
A great last-minute gift idea for that pet-obsessed friend or family member! Gift certificates give the recipient the ability to work with the artist to totally customize their piece so they get exactly what they want.
Gift Certificates can be made for the amount of your choice and either printed at home or mailed to you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to order.
Are there any special words or images that represent your pet? Think about things like your pet's nickname, family members' names, pet's favorite toy/activity/food, favorite sports team, hometowns, etc. These can be "hidden" within your piece to make it truly personalized.
The larger the piece, the more details will be captured. Tinier sizes are great for displaying in little nooks and bookshelves. Go bigger if you want Fido to really show-stop!
Does your pooch have a signature color? You can specify what color you would like for your pet's background or leave it up to the artist.
Photos that really show your pet's personality make the best portraits. Try to capture them in their element!

Choosing a Photo
Everyone loves receiving an old-school card in the mail. Send one that won't be forgotten! Your pet's portrait will be printed on a high-quality, size A2 folded greeting card. Envelopes included!
A: A great deal of time and effort is taken to ensure that your piece truly captures your pet. I want to make sure you are 100% happy with your portrait! Small changes amounting to less than an hour of work (for example, removing some of the gray from your senior pet's face) will be done free of charge. For more significant changes, there will be an additional charge of $25/hour. Your piece is basically a replica of the photo you provide of your pet, so it is crucial to let me know in advance if there are any features you would like changed to avoid additional charges.
A: Once payment is received, you will be added to the waiting list and I can give you a guesstimate as to when your piece will be completed. Typically this will be 2-6 weeks. If you will need your piece on a certain date, just let me know so I can accommodate you!
A: All pieces are done on a 1/2 inch deep canvas which can hang directly on your wall or be displayed on a tabletop easel. The collage wraps all the way around the canvas for a finished look. Pet Pieces currently does not offer framing services, but if you prefer framed artwork, go for it!
